Styling: Vintage Dream in the Desert | Palm Springs

11.9.15

Flashback Friday to a year ago when some friends and I decided to create this vintage desert dream shoot. Taken place in Palm Springs, during mid-September was a blazing 108 degrees of hotness. We kept running from location to the AC in the car to stay cool during the desert heat. We really didn't mind it though, as it made it that much more interesting and fun. The gorgeous model here is my best friend Jackie Mendez- who was a natural- just look at her!
It was so nice to work with all women, the photographer and skilled Hair & Make-up artist was Evelia of Evelia Photography . She's incredibly talented behind the camera and knows how to set the vibes. I loved working with both these girls. Since I knew my friend's body type it was easy to pull the items that I knew would flatter her body and what sillohuets would complement her. All looks came from Deja Vu Vintage Finery- a mid-century modern boutique in Palm Springs.
